Very close to other houses and very little privacy. Beds were very soft and uncomfortable. House was clean. Door locks were not working properly.

Such an amazing place to stay. Host responded right away. Super clean. Loved staying here. Quiet neighbors. Will return for sure.

The place on our week end to the cost was real nice. The bungalow we spent our weekend was nice, easy to get to and . back. We would stay there again.

Perfect cottage for our spur of the moment family getaway. Pool is directly across the way. With 4 small kids, we wanted everyone to be comfortable. Terra's place is a wonderful gem just outside of town. It is close enough to many eateries and a short drive to the beach. I was surprised that it was off a busy street, but there's no sound inside the cottage. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves the entire time. It has absolutely everything you need even some extras for little kids. The bedroom gets nice and dark, so perfect for midday naps. My experience was more than 5 stars. This beach house is beautiful. Terra is the best host ever! She had everything ready for us. I stayed with my husband and my 1 year old golden retriever. Our stay at the Sandy Pelican cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for the trip we were able to find - from sand toys for the beach to a blender for margaritas! Beautiful cottage, felt very comfortable! Plenty of space for a family of five.(younger kids) The pool, 7 steps away was great, and having it be open all night was an added bonus so the kids could burn off energy after a day of exploring! If you are looking for a home away from home, with an amazing host, this is the place to come! We WILL be back! The countdown has already begun and we haven't even made it out of Tx yet! Amazing cottage with comfortable bedding, quality amenities, and location perfect for trips to the beach with family. We enjoyed late nights talking on the porch and swimming with our children in the very clean and kid-friendly pool a few steps across the cottage. Terra was amazingly gracious and timely in communication. Our kids and pets enjoyed this short stay and will be back in the near future! If I could give 10 stars to this cottage, I would! We arrived after dark on Christmas Eve, and Terra had a kitchen mixer in the box still on the counter for us in order to make sugar cookies! I never even mentioned that, but it was so delightful! My family and I have been on the road for 2 weeks in a small camper due to a funeral, and as a present to ourselves we booked this cottage for the three days of Christmas weekend. This cottage is one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at!! It’s decorated beautifully, has hooks everywhere, every drawer is labeled, it smells Amazing, and all of utensils even match the beautiful Decor!

This place is a wonderful quiet get away for family, couples, or just a fisherman looking for a convenient place to stay. everything was clean and decorated so well! thanks the great family vacation Response: Glad ya’ll enjoyed! Terra’s cottage was an amazing gem for our girls getaway. Terra’s cottage is filled with every amenity you will need as a home away from home. The cottage was right across from the pool which was a wonderful amenity each day. The beach was less than a 10 min drive and near many stores and restaurants. Terra accommodated us with both early check and late check out. Terra was so amazing, communicates promptly and made us feel absolutely welcomed. You will feel this the minute you step into the cottage. As a seasoned AIRBNB traveler this was truly, one of the best, experiences we’ve had. Thanks again Terra and we can’t wait to visit again!

The cottage was super cute and had everything to offer. Our family of 5 fit perfectly in the home, good storage even for the small space, and having conveniences such as the full kitchen and washer/dryer really made our 8-day stay very comfortable. Terra was quick to reply to my questions and went above and beyond to offer food and location suggestions for the area. We really enjoyed our stay!!

What an adorable place! We found it to be very comfortable, & with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was very nicely equipped; the refrigerator & stove are full size, & for the coffee lovers like me, I REALLY like the coffeemaker! The whole cottage was very comfortable & cozy! This cottage is even prettier in person. It’s so welcoming, very clean and you have every thing you will need for your stay and for months too (lol) Terra was always easy to communicate with and very attentive. You don’t need to bring anything other that the food and A LOT a of mosquito spray. The beach and Rockport downtown is 13-15 minutes away. We’ll be back for sure.

I’ve stayed at several airbnbs and this one was great. Terra, our host, thought of everything. It was cozy and very clean. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. I really liked having all drawers and cabinets labeled in the kitchen. Terra answered all my questions immediately. She followed up on check in to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. very clean

Not entirely pet friendly. The cottage is nicely decorated and comfortable considering the size. Terra ensured we had everything we would need and then some. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra fee for dog hair (photo not provided). Our dog was in a kennel the majority of our stay (which was only two nights). We never allowed her on furniture or in the bedrooms. We actually met Terra after coming back from a trip to Port Aransas and she made a comment regarding my dog and whether she was shedding a lot. I anticipated an extra fee would incur from the comment alone. Nonetheless, we swept up her loose fur before leaving. We were also nearly charged another fee for poop found in the cottage. However, it was supposedly in an area my dog couldn't even reach due to her size (housekeeping said it was found underneath the corner table between the two couches). Not to mention the photo sent was of a turd that was dry and didn't seem to be in the area mentioned. There was never an odor either. This made entirely no sense but Terra did drop that fee. While I understand a larger dog comes with a bigger responsibility, a pet weight limit was never listed. I don't see how dog hair is a bigger issue than say, sand. Especially when we prepaid the cleaning fee and the pet fee before our stay. Other than that, the cottage was a lovely stay and we enjoyed everything Rockport and Port Aransas had to offer. Response: We appreciate all the feedback received. It helps us do better and be better. This particular incident has caused us to take a break from hosting fur babies. The guest we just checked in appreciated the added attention to removing all remaining pet hair which, was considerable.

This cottage was amazing! Perfect location, so homey, and super clean. It had everything we needed. The pool right outside was the best! Terra was so helpful and communicated great. Not to mention, Rockport was one of the most beautiful places we have have ever seen! We can’t wait to go back!

Very nice place to stay when you want to do a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and the decor was very nice through out the house. I loved how everything was labeled making it easy to find what we needed. I loved that the cottage had a pool to swim in when you don't want to go to the beach. And our host was so nice and responded us to very quickly. We would definitely be back to stay again.

Adorable cottage in Copano Village right off the main road. My son and I enjoyed our stay during our three day break from life. The cottage is nicely decorated and well stocked with most of all necessities and more. The pool is steps away from the front porch. If you bring your dog make sure to clean up all dog hair and dander or you may get charged extra. Extremely easy self check-in. Magical AC will cool you right off with temps over 90 degrees outside. My family and I took a spontaneous pre Christmas trip and weren’t expecting much on a cloudy weekend at the beach. However Terra made our stay great! She was flexible on check in/out as we had work issues come up that changed our timing last minute. The cottage was clean, everything labeled and easy to find, and she had great local recommendations. Our dogs also really enjoyed the area. Would book again!

We can not say enough positive things about this wonderful beach cottage! It was exactly as pictured and blew our expectations away. This house was decorated perfectly, had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and exceeded in every category. Terra has the house fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from various spices to a first aid kit. Traveling with our two children and family dog is sometimes stressful but this place did just the opposite. We felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed and Terra was very responsive and helpful. first... I want to say that I was a manager of housekeeping several years back, so I ALWAYS inspect any room we check into before I let anyone come in because I know what to look for... this house was PERFECT!! My son spilt some water in the bathroom and I just used the towel that he had just used to clean it up... that towel was still as WHITE as could be! Very pleased with this house and the owners!

Nice place for a small family. The area was nice and quiet and we went during a holiday weekend! The pool was nice and just across from the house. Our stay was great! Not too far from the beach. The pool was right in front of the house which we enjoyed. Our host was very interactive with us as far as instructions getting in the house and was of great help with the wifi! Overall it was fun!

Perfect place!

Had a wonderful time at Terra’s sea side cottage. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Terra went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was super clean. Terra was very attentive and communicated with us from the moment we made our reservation. She even allowed us to checkout late since there was not another booking the following day. We highly appreciated Terra’s hospitality and highly recommend her cottage if you’re in the area. 5+ Stars!

We loved the Sandy Pelican! It is a small cottage that is decorated in lively colors and is a great space for a small family. The cottage is in the midst of other cottages but we still found it private enough. This cottage is right across from the small community pool, so it was easy proximity for our tween to do what she loves most, swim, swim, swim. It is really so perfect for a small family. There are two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. We had everything we needed and more. A BBQ, laundry access in the cottage, 3 TV screens, board games, fresh linens and little essentials you may have not planned for or can't travel with. There are many restaurants nearby that we enjoyed, and even an HEB grocery store. Close proximity - 60 minutes or less to Matagorda Bay, Rockport Beach, Mustang Island and Fulton Beach. This was just a really great place that has a great host in Terra who provided a quick response, useful suggestions and really cares about your comfort as you visit.

This cottage is so adorable and well appointed. Terra thought of everything. She had all the dishes, pots and pans, glassware you could need. She had quite a few stocked supplies and snacks, and even a doggie basket with bowls, leads, etc. The minute you walk in, the cottage gives you a hug. It’s so warm and cozy. The furniture cans bedding was all very comfortable. We were there during winter when they had unseasonably cold weather, so we did not use the porch or pool, but still quite a relaxing experience. Terra is super responsive to answer questions and gave us some great local recommendations. Would 100% stay here again.

Terra’s hospitality and attentiveness was above and beyond! We could not have asked for a better host. Her unit was nicely kept and maintained throughout. The only thing that was not cleared was the BBQ pit from the prior user but it was not a big deal! It was a very peaceful and excellent stay.

Took my 2 kids and I stayed 2 nights, it was super cute and clean, comfortable, loved all the coastal decorations. There is literally everything you need already in there like laundry soap, coffee, ect. Tvs in all rooms. My kids loved it so much they didn't want to go home. would 10/10 recommend.

Wonderful little cottage that had everything we could need!!

Although we had a rainy few days, there was plenty of books, games and puzzle space (we brought one) for our family. Plenty of space for our 5 people and 2 dogs. The tall ceilings gave the square footage such an open feel. It was perfectly appointed and we will save it for next time. The pool is perfect for a quick swim between rain showers. The kids fished their hearts content.

She responded quick when we had a question on where exactly to park our boat. Neighbor’s are very welcoming and our dog had a place to walk around. I will save this place for our future stays.

So enjoyed staying at this great little cottage. My grandkids enjoyed the pool right across from the house to cool down after the day at the beach. This cottage is right over the causeway so it is at the edge of town but, enjoyed riding the beach line into town. Very peaceful and comfortable. Terra is a great host!

We love our stay here with our kids and our 2 dogs. Terra was an amazing host. She was very responsive and knowledgeable of the best places in town to eat and have a good time. The Sandy Pelican was a perfect place to enjoy a little getaway for our little family (including two young kiddos). Terra has EVERYTHING you could think of needing and had the cottage stocked so well (there were even hair ties and nail files in the bathroom)! Wonderful stay at the Sandy Pelican! Terra & Kelli (sp?) were great with providing checkin information and the cottage itself was cosy and pleasant to hang out and chill. We stayed in most of our trip other than going to the beach, as our stay was for R&R, this was just about perfect with shopping or activities nearby if we wanted. Road noise is a little noticeable at night as others have mentioned, but the white noise of the AC offsets it for the most part. It’s not a super busy road and the location was convenient to the beach so overall, Great calming vibe and super helpful hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay. Easy to see that Terra has furnished the cottage with loving care, attention to detail and a personal commitment to guests’ comfort and needs. While I didn’t need it, it was good to see a fully equipped kitchen – can’t think of anything else a person would need- even for an extended stay. The quality of bed and bath linens was wonderful – fluffy, soft and cozy. The cottage was impeccably clean and everything in good working order. Once we got our bearings for Rockport & Fulton, realized everything is in close driving distance. I highly recommended this delightful cottage. Wow, what a gem! This adorable cottage is spacious and extremely clean with just about everything you need and then some. The beach decor really set the vibe. Wonderful place to relax. The beds were so comfortable. Right next to Copano bridge and less than 10 mins from Central Rockport's main area. It really was a lovely stay and definitely a steal for what it's worth. This place will be a tough one to top.

The cottage is so cute. kinda small for 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. the beds were the Best beds I have ever slept in at a bnb. we are big coffee drinks and there was plenty of coffee for a 4 day trip. the only negative I have is the wifi had to keep being rebooted. other then that we would definitely stay again on our next trip. We really enjoyed Kelly’s cottage, very clean and easy to get to. Everything was just as we expected and loved the home decor. Definitely would stay again and you won’t be disappointed. The cottage exceeded my expectations. Terra has thought of everything. For a family of 4 with little kids access to the pool was great, the ability to make a few quick meals at the cottage was perfect and the close proximity to the beach. Terra labeled everything so you knew where it was and had a great welcome binder. Communication was great and easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

This cottage is STUNNING. Pictures could never do it justice. All the little details and decor immediately set you in vacation mode! Terra is incredible. Terra has everything you would ever need in a home Response: This family was tough! In a good way! Their trip almost hit the skids--no fault of their own--but the effort they put into communication and their ability to work though the problem was so admirable! Lesser folks would have given up but they did not! The reason: Their desire to build memories with trip growing boys. Realizing we only have so much time while our kids are young--it was THAT IMPORTANT TO MOM AND DAD to make it happen! And they did! Can I start off by saying that Terra is super inviting and sweet ! She went above and beyond and is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Terra’s cottage is a beautiful little gem situated in a peaceful setting that also offers a nice pool. It is a short drive to Beautiful Rockport Beach. The cottage offers a cozy little porch where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and having beach towels available to use was a big plus. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. The place is absolutely amazing..... you will not regret staying there. We will definitely be coming back! We always try to deliver an experience that will be enjoyed by those choosing to stay with us. Very peaceful quiet little place. Cute little beach cottage. Nice clean pool. Very thought out amenities! I would recommend to others.

Not entirely pet friendly. The cottage is nicely decorated and comfortable considering the size. Terra ensured we had everything we would need and then some. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra fee for dog hair (photo not provided). Our dog was in a kennel the majority of our stay (which was only two nights). We never allowed her on furniture or in the bedrooms. We actually met Terra after coming back from a trip to Port Aransas and she made a comment regarding my dog and whether she was shedding a lot. I anticipated an extra fee would incur from the comment alone. Nonetheless, we swept up her loose fur before leaving. We were also nearly charged another fee for poop found in the cottage. However, it was supposedly in an area my dog couldn't even reach due to her size (housekeeping said it was found underneath the corner table between the two couches). Not to mention the photo sent was of a turd that was dry and didn't seem to be in the area mentioned. There was never an odor either. This made entirely no sense but Terra did drop that fee. While I understand a larger dog comes with a bigger responsibility, a pet weight limit was never listed. I don't see how dog hair is a bigger issue than say, sand. Especially when we prepaid the cleaning fee and the pet fee before our stay. Other than that, the cottage was a lovely stay and we enjoyed everything Rockport and Port Aransas had to offer. Response: We appreciate all the feedback received. It helps us do better and be better. This particular incident has caused us to take a break from hosting fur babies. The guest we just checked in appreciated the added attention to removing all remaining pet hair which, was considerable.

Terra's place is a wonderful gem just outside of town. It is close enough to many eateries and a short drive to the beach. I was surprised that it was off a busy street, but there's no sound inside the cottage. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves the entire time. It has absolutely everything you need even some extras for little kids. The bedroom gets nice and dark, so perfect for midday naps. If I could give 10 stars to this cottage, I would! We arrived after dark on Christmas Eve, and Terra had a kitchen mixer in the box still on the counter for us in order to make sugar cookies! I never even mentioned that, but it was so delightful! My family and I have been on the road for 2 weeks in a small camper due to a funeral, and as a present to ourselves we booked this cottage for the three days of Christmas weekend. This cottage is one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at!! It’s decorated beautifully, has hooks everywhere, every drawer is labeled, it smells Amazing, and all of utensils even match the beautiful Decor!

Lovely little cottage. Beautiful pool right outside which thoroughly enjoyed every day multiple times. Rockport beach is 6 miles away, 12 minutes by car. A very nice beach - good for children. Lovely little cottage. Beautiful pool right outside which thoroughly enjoyed every day multiple times. Rockport beach is 6 miles away, 12 minutes by car. A very nice beach - good for children. This cottage is even prettier in person. It’s so welcoming, very clean and you have every thing you will need for your stay and for months too (lol) Terra was always easy to communicate with and very attentive. You don’t need to bring anything other that the food and A LOT a of mosquito spray. The beach and Rockport downtown is 13-15 minutes away. We’ll be back for sure.

The cottage was super cute and had everything to offer. Our family of 5 fit perfectly in the home, good storage even for the small space, and having conveniences such as the full kitchen and washer/dryer really made our 8-day stay very comfortable. Terra was quick to reply to my questions and went above and beyond to offer food and location suggestions for the area. We really enjoyed our stay!!

I’ve stayed at several airbnbs and this one was great. Terra, our host, thought of everything. It was cozy and very clean. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. I really liked having all drawers and cabinets labeled in the kitchen. Terra answered all my questions immediately. She followed up on check in to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. Adorable cottage in Copano Village right off the main road. My son and I enjoyed our stay during our three day break from life. The cottage is nicely decorated and well stocked with most of all necessities and more. The pool is steps away from the front porch. If you bring your dog make sure to clean up all dog hair and dander or you may get charged extra. Extremely easy self check-in. Magical AC will cool you right off with temps over 90 degrees outside. We had a wonderful stay on our first visit to the Rockport Fulton area. The cottage had everything we needed and the pool was perfect for the grandkids. Terra was a great host, check-in was easy and we appreciated the recommendations for dining and things to see.

Very cute cottage. Comfortable beds and all the little extras that you wouldn’t expect from an Airbnb-plenty of towels, seasonings, pool toys, laundry soap etc…..all in all great stay! Second time back in less than a year! This cottage is the perfect home away from home. Just secluded enough to relax and enjoy some quiet, but close enough to enjoy all Rockport and surrounding areas have to offer. Would recommend again and again. If I could give 10 stars to this cottage, I would! We arrived after dark on Christmas Eve, and Terra had a kitchen mixer in the box still on the counter for us in order to make sugar cookies! I never even mentioned that, but it was so delightful! My family and I have been on the road for 2 weeks in a small camper due to a funeral, and as a present to ourselves we booked this cottage for the three days of Christmas weekend. This cottage is one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at!! It’s decorated beautifully, has hooks everywhere, every drawer is labeled, it smells Amazing, and all of utensils even match the beautiful Decor!

Great place to stay. The house was neat and tidy and decorated really well. The property was quiet and well taken care of. Our stay at the Sandy Pelican cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for the trip we were able to find - from sand toys for the beach to a blender for margaritas! What an adorable place! We found it to be very comfortable, & with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was very nicely equipped; the refrigerator & stove are full size, & for the coffee lovers like me, I REALLY like the coffeemaker! The whole cottage was very comfortable & cozy! The cottage is so cute. kinda small for 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. the beds were the Best beds I have ever slept in at a bnb. we are big coffee drinks and there was plenty of coffee for a 4 day trip. the only negative I have is the wifi had to keep being rebooted. other then that we would definitely stay again on our next trip. I want to say that I was a manager of housekeeping several years back, so I ALWAYS inspect any room we check into before I let anyone come in because I know what to look for... this house was PERFECT!! My son spilt some water in the bathroom and I just used the towel that he had just used to clean it up... that towel was still as WHITE as could be! Very pleased with this house and the owners!

We really enjoyed Kelly’s cottage, very clean and easy to get to. Everything was just as we expected and loved the home decor. Definitely would stay again and you won’t be disappointed. Was looking for a guestbook to sign but wasn’t able to find one. But if you’re in the area this is a wonderful place to stay.

So enjoyed staying at this great little cottage. My grandkids enjoyed the pool right across from the house to cool down after the day at the beach. This cottage is right over the causeway so it is at the edge of town but, enjoyed riding the beach line into town. Very peaceful and comfortable. Terra is a great host!

Wonderful little cottage that had everything we could need!!

We loved the Sandy Pelican! It is a small cottage that is decorated in lively colors and is a great space for a small family. The cottage is in the midst of other cottages but we still found it private enough. This cottage is right across from the small community pool, so it was easy proximity for our tween to do what she loves most, swim, swim, swim. It is really so perfect for a small family. There are two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. We had everything we needed and more. A BBQ, laundry access in the cottage, 3 TV screens, board games, fresh linens and little essentials you may have not planned for or can't travel with. There are many restaurants nearby that we enjoyed, and even an HEB grocery store. Close proximity - 60 minutes or less to Matagorda Bay, Rockport Beach, Mustang Island and Fulton Beach. This was just a really great place that has a great host in Terra who provided a quick response, useful suggestions and really cares about your comfort as you visit.

This cottage is STUNNING. Pictures could never do it justice. All the little details and decor immediately set you in vacation mode! Terra is incredible. She has made certain there's almost nothing you could need that's not here. We even had a spectrum issue and she IMMEDIATELY got on the phone for the solution. Her communication was awesome. We can not say enough positive things about this wonderful beach cottage! It was exactly as pictured and blew our expectations away. This house was decorated perfectly, had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and exceeded in every category. Terra has the house fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from various spices to a first aid kit. Traveling with our two children and family dog is sometimes stressful but this place did just the opposite. We felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed and Terra was very responsive and helpful. My family and I took a spontaneous pre Christmas trip and weren’t expecting much on a cloudy weekend at the beach. However Terra made our stay great! She was flexible on check in/out as we had work issues come up that changed our timing last minute. The cottage was clean, everything labeled and easy to find, and she had great local recommendations. Our dogs also really enjoyed the area. Would book again!

The cottage exceeded my expectations. Terra has thought of everything. For a family of 4 with little kids access to the pool was great, the ability to make a few quick meals at the cottage was perfect and the close proximity to the beach. Terra labeled everything so you knew where it was and had a great welcome binder. Communication was great and easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Terra’s hospitality and attentiveness was above and beyond! We could not have asked for a better host. Her unit was nicely kept and maintained throughout. The only thing that was not cleared was the BBQ pit from the prior user but it was not a big deal! It was a very peaceful and excellent stay.

The host added so many helpful touches to the cute cottage. Everything from snacks, games, cleaning supplies, and toiletries.

Took my 2 kids and I stayed 2 nights, it was super cute and clean, comfortable, loved all the coastal decorations. There is literally everything you need already in there like laundry soap, coffee, ect. Tvs in all rooms. My kids loved it so much they didn't want to go home. would 10/10 recommend.

Can I start off by saying that Terra is super inviting and sweet ! She went above and beyond and is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Terra’s cottage is a beautiful little gem situated in a peaceful setting that also offers a nice pool. It is a short drive to Beautiful Rockport Beach. The cottage offers a cozy little porch where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and having beach towels available to use was a big plus. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. The place is absolutely amazing..... you will not regret staying there. We will definitely be coming back! The Sandy Pelican was a perfect place to enjoy a little getaway for our little family (including two young kiddos). Terra has EVERYTHING you could think of needing and had the cottage stocked so well (there were even hair ties and nail files in the bathroom)! Perfect place!

This cottage is so adorable and well appointed. Terra thought of everything. She had all the dishes, pots and pans, glassware you could need. She had quite a few stocked supplies and snacks, and even a doggie basket with bowls, leads, etc. The minute you walk in, the cottage gives you a hug. It’s so warm and cozy. The furniture cans bedding was all very comfortable. We were there during winter when they had unseasonably cold weather, so we did not use the porch or pool, but still quite a relaxing experience. Terra is super responsive to answer questions and gave us some great local recommendations. Would 100% stay here again.

Wow, what a gem! This adorable cottage is spacious and extremely clean with just about everything you need and then some. The beach decor really set the vibe. Wonderful place to relax. The beds were so comfortable. Right next to Copano bridge and less than 10 mins from Central Rockport's main area. It really was a lovely stay and definitely a steal for what it's worth. This place will be a tough one to top.

Wonderful stay at the Sandy Pelican! Terra & Kelli (sp?) were great with providing checkin information and the cottage itself was cosy and pleasant to hang out and chill. We stayed in most of our trip other than going to the beach, as our stay was for R&R, this was just about perfect with shopping or activities nearby if we wanted. Road noise is a little noticeable at night as others have mentioned, but the white noise of the AC offsets it for the most part. It’s not a super busy road and the location was convenient to the beach so overall, Great calming vibe and super helpful hosts!

Terra has everything you would ever need in a home Response: This family was tough! In a good way! Their trip almost hit the skids--no fault of their own--but the effort they put into communication and their ability to work though the problem was so admirable! Lesser folks would have given up but they did not! The reason: Their desire to build memories with trip growing boys. Realizing we only have so much time while our kids are young--it was THAT IMPORTANT TO MOM AND DAD to make it happen! And they did! They shared pictures of their time in Texas and they were really just great folks all the way around! Thanks for staying with us!

Staying at Terra’s place made our trip feel exciting and refreshing! As soon as we walked in the door we felt right at home! From toothbrushes and towels to coffee cups and popcorn we loved that everything we needed was provided.

What a great quick gate away from our busy town. it was a small drive away from the stores but close enough. she had everything that you would need plus more. She responded quick when we had a question on where exactly to park our boat. Neighbor’s are very welcoming and our dog had a place to walk around. I will save this place for our future stays.

Although we had a rainy few days, there was plenty of books, games and puzzle space (we brought one) for our family. Plenty of space for our 5 people and 2 dogs. The tall ceilings gave the square footage such an open feel. It was perfectly appointed and we will save it for next time. The pool is perfect for a quick swim between rain showers. The kids fished their hearts content.

This two bedroom was very cute and the host provided everything needed to get our long stay started! We enjoyed it very much and would book again. Response: Thank you for your review! Nice place for a small family. The area was nice and quiet and we went during a holiday weekend! The pool was nice and just across from the house. Our stay was great! Not too far from the beach. The pool was right in front of the house which we enjoyed. Our host was very interactive with us as far as instructions getting in the house and was of great help with the wifi! Overall it was fun!

We absolutely loved our stay. Easy to see that Terra has furnished the cottage with loving care, attention to detail and a personal commitment to guests’ comfort and needs. While I didn’t need it, it was good to see a fully equipped kitchen – can’t think of anything else a person would need- even for an extended stay. The quality of bed and bath linens was wonderful – fluffy, soft and cozy. The cottage was impeccably clean and everything in good working order. Once we got our bearings for Rockport & Fulton, realized everything is in close driving distance. I highly recommended this delightful cottage. The place on our week end to the cost was real nice. The bungalow we spent our weekend was nice, easy to get to and . back. We would stay there again.

What an adorable place! We found it to be very comfortable, & with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was very nicely equipped; the refrigerator & stove are full size, & for the coffee lovers like me, I REALLY like the coffeemaker! The whole cottage was very comfortable & cozy! It’s so welcoming, very clean and you have every thing you will need for your stay and for months too (lol) Terra was always easy to communicate with and very attentive. You don’t need to bring anything other that the food and A LOT a of mosquito spray. The beach and Rockport downtown is 13-15 minutes away. We’ll be back for sure.

I was surprised that it was off a busy street, but there's no sound inside the cottage. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves the entire time. It has absolutely everything you need even some extras for little kids. The bedroom gets nice and dark, so perfect for midday naps. Terra’s cottage was an amazing gem for our girls getaway. Terra’s cottage is filled with every amenity you will need as a home away from home. The cottage was right across from the pool which was a wonderful amenity each day. The beach was less than a 10 min drive and near many stores and restaurants. Terra accommodated us with both early check and late check out. Terra was so amazing, communicates promptly and made us feel absolutely welcomed. You will feel this the minute you step into the cottage. As a seasoned AIRBNB traveler this was truly, one of the best, experiences we’ve had. Thanks again Terra and we can’t wait to visit again!

Not entirely pet friendly. The cottage is nicely decorated and comfortable considering the size. Terra ensured we had everything we would need and then some. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra fee for dog hair (photo not provided). Our dog was in a kennel the majority of our stay (which was only two nights). We never allowed her on furniture or in the bedrooms. We actually met Terra after coming back from a trip to Port Aransas and she made a comment regarding my dog and whether she was shedding a lot. I anticipated an extra fee would incur from the comment alone. Nonetheless, we swept up her loose fur before leaving. We were also nearly charged another fee for poop found in the cottage. However, it was supposedly in an area my dog couldn't even reach due to her size (housekeeping said it was found underneath the corner table between the two couches). Not to mention the photo sent was of a turd that was dry and didn't seem to be in the area mentioned. There was never an odor either. This made entirely no sense but Terra did drop that fee. While I understand a larger dog comes with a bigger responsibility, a pet weight limit was never listed. I don't see how dog hair is a bigger issue than say, sand. Especially when we prepaid the cleaning fee and the pet fee before our stay. Other than that, the cottage was a lovely stay and we enjoyed everything Rockport and Port Aransas had to offer. Response: We appreciate all the feedback received. It helps us do better and be better. This particular incident has caused us to take a break from hosting fur babies. The guest we just checked in appreciated the added attention to removing all remaining pet hair which, was considerable.

If I could give 10 stars to this cottage, I would! We arrived after dark on Christmas Eve, and Terra had a kitchen mixer in the box still on the counter for us in order to make sugar cookies! I never even mentioned that, but it was so delightful! My family and I have been on the road for 2 weeks in a small camper due to a funeral, and as a present to ourselves we booked this cottage for the three days of Christmas weekend. This cottage is one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at!! It’s decorated beautifully, has hooks everywhere, every drawer is labeled, it smells Amazing, and all of utensils even match the beautiful Decor!

Perfect cottage for our spur of the moment family getaway. Pool is directly across the way. With 4 small kids, we wanted everyone to be comfortable. A nice home-like environment, much preferred over a hotel room. Hoping to visit again soon! Terra was so easy to communicate with and very thorough in her instructions. Our stay at the Sandy Pelican cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for the trip we were able to find - from sand toys for the beach to a blender for margaritas! I’ve stayed at several airbnbs and this one was great. Terra, our host, thought of everything. It was cozy and very clean. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. I really liked having all drawers and cabinets labeled in the kitchen. Terra answered all my questions immediately. She followed up on check in to see if we were comfortable and needed anything. This place is a wonderful quiet get away for family, couples, or just a fisherman looking for a convenient place to stay. everything was clean and decorated so well! thanks the great family vacation Response: Glad ya’ll enjoyed! My experience was more than 5 stars. This beach house is beautiful. Terra is the best host ever! She had everything ready for us. I stayed with my husband and my 1 year old golden retriever. What an adorable place! We found it to be very comfortable, & with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was very nicely equipped; the refrigerator & stove are full size, & for the coffee lovers like me, I REALLY like the coffeemaker! The whole cottage was very comfortable & cozy! Adorable cottage in Copano Village right off the main road. My son and I enjoyed our stay during our three day break from life. The cottage is nicely decorated and well stocked with most of all necessities and more. The pool is steps away from the front porch. If you bring your dog make sure to clean up all dog hair and dander or you may get charged extra. Extremely easy self check-in. Magical AC will cool you right off with temps over 90 degrees outside. This cottage is so adorable and well appointed. Terra thought of everything. She had all the dishes, pots and pans, glassware you could need. She had quite a few stocked supplies and snacks, and even a doggie basket with bowls, leads, etc. The minute you walk in, the cottage gives you a hug. It’s so warm and cozy. The furniture cans bedding was all very comfortable. We were there during winter when they had unseasonably cold weather, so we did not use the porch or pool, but still quite a relaxing experience. Terra is super responsive to answer questions and gave us some great local recommendations. Would 100% stay here again.

Great place for family trip. The pool is across from the house, there are games inside the house for the kids, and the beach is only a few minutes away. Would stay here again in the future.

Everything was great! Beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever had. Everything we needed was provided & location was great & near everything. Only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool.

What a great quick gate away from our busy town. it was a small drive away from the stores but close enough. she had everything that you would need plus more. She responded quick when we had a question on where exactly to park our boat. Neighbor’s are very welcoming and our dog had a place to walk around. I will save this place for our future stays.

We can not say enough positive things about this wonderful beach cottage! It was exactly as pictured and blew our expectations away. This house was decorated perfectly, had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and exceeded in every category. Terra has the house fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from various spices to a first aid kit. Traveling with our two children and family dog is sometimes stressful but this place did just the opposite. We felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed and Terra was very responsive and helpful. We love our stay here with our kids and our 2 dogs. Terra was an amazing host. She was very responsive and knowledgeable of the best places in town to eat and have a good time. Wonderful little cottage that had everything we could need!!

We loved the Sandy Pelican! It is a small cottage that is decorated in lively colors and is a great space for a small family. The cottage is in the midst of other cottages but we still found it private enough. This cottage is right across from the small community pool, so it was easy proximity for our tween to do what she loves most, swim, swim, swim. It is really so perfect for a small family. There are two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. We had everything we needed and more. A BBQ, laundry access in the cottage, 3 TV screens, board games, fresh linens and little essentials you may have not planned for or can't travel with. There are many restaurants nearby that we enjoyed, and even an HEB grocery store. Close proximity - 60 minutes or less to Matagorda Bay, Rockport Beach, Mustang Island and Fulton Beach. This was just a really great place that has a great host in Terra who provided a quick response, useful suggestions and really cares about your comfort as you visit.

Nice place for a small family. The area was nice and quiet and we went during a holiday weekend! The pool was nice and just across from the house. first... I want to say that I was a manager of housekeeping several years back, so I ALWAYS inspect any room we check into before I let anyone come in because I know what to look for... this house was PERFECT!! My son spilt some water in the bathroom and I just used the towel that he had just used to clean it up... that towel was still as WHITE as could be! Very pleased with this house and the owners!

Took my 2 kids and I stayed 2 nights, it was super cute and clean, comfortable, loved all the coastal decorations. There is literally everything you need already in there like laundry soap, coffee, ect. Tvs in all rooms. My kids loved it so much they didn't want to go home. would 10/10 recommend.

So enjoyed staying at this great little cottage. My grandkids enjoyed the pool right across from the house to cool down after the day at the beach. This cottage is right over the causeway so it is at the edge of town but, enjoyed riding the beach line into town. Very peaceful and comfortable. Terra is a great host!

We had a wonderful stay on our first visit to the Rockport Fulton area. The cottage had everything we needed and the pool was perfect for the grandkids. Terra was a great host, check-in was easy and we appreciated the recommendations for dining and things to see.

Our stay was great! Not too far from the beach. The pool was right in front of the house which we enjoyed. Our host was very interactive with us as far as instructions getting in the house and was of great help with the wifi! Overall it was fun!

My family and I took a spontaneous pre Christmas trip and weren’t expecting much on a cloudy weekend at the beach. However Terra made our stay great! She was flexible on check in/out as we had work issues come up that changed our timing last minute. The cottage was clean, everything labeled and easy to find, and she had great local recommendations. Our dogs also really enjoyed the area. Would book again!

Terra’s hospitality and attentiveness was above and beyond! We could not have asked for a better host. Her unit was nicely kept and maintained throughout. The only thing that was not cleared was the BBQ pit from the prior user but it was not a big deal! It was a very peaceful and excellent stay.

Had a wonderful time at Terra’s sea side cottage. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Terra went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The cottage is so cute. kinda small for 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. the beds were the Best beds I have ever slept in at a bnb. we are big coffee drinks and there was plenty of coffee for a 4 day trip. the only negative I have is the wifi had to keep being rebooted. other then that we would definitely stay again on our next trip. This cottage is STUNNING. Pictures could never do it justice. All the little details and decor immediately set you in vacation mode! Terra is incredible. She has made certain there's almost nothing you could need that's not here. We even had a spectrum issue and she IMMEDIATELY got on the phone for the solution. Her communication was awesome. Can I start off by saying that Terra is super inviting and sweet ! She went above and beyond and is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Terra’s cottage is a beautiful little gem situated in a peaceful setting that also offers a nice pool. It is a short drive to Beautiful Rockport Beach. The cottage offers a cozy little porch where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and having beach towels available to use was a big plus. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. The place is absolutely amazing..... you will not regret staying there. We will definitely be coming back! Although we had a rainy few days, there was plenty of books, games and puzzle space (we brought one) for our family. Plenty of space for our 5 people and 2 dogs. The tall ceilings gave the square footage such an open feel. It was perfectly appointed and we will save it for next time. The pool is perfect for a quick swim between rain showers. The kids fished their hearts content.

Terra and her co host were super friendly and helpful the whole time, they even let us extend our stay once we got checked in!

My son really likes to stay in this house so we will be back again.

The Sandy Pelican was a perfect place to enjoy a little getaway for our little family (including two young kiddos). Terra has EVERYTHING you could think of needing and had the cottage stocked so well (there were even hair ties and nail files in the bathroom)! We absolutely loved our stay. Easy to see that Terra has furnished the cottage with loving care, attention to detail and a personal commitment to guests’ comfort and needs. While I didn’t need it, it was good to see a fully equipped kitchen – can’t think of anything else a person would need- even for an extended stay. The quality of bed and bath linens was wonderful – fluffy, soft and cozy. The cottage was impeccably clean and everything in good working order. Once we got our bearings for Rockport & Fulton, realized everything is in close driving distance. I highly recommended this delightful cottage. Wonderful stay at the Sandy Pelican! Terra & Kelli (sp?) were great with providing checkin information and the cottage itself was cosy and pleasant to hang out and chill. We stayed in most of our trip other than going to the beach, as our stay was for R&R, this was just about perfect with shopping or activities nearby if we wanted. Road noise is a little noticeable at night as others have mentioned, but the white noise of the AC offsets it for the most part. It’s not a super busy road and the location was convenient to the beach so overall, Great calming vibe and super helpful hosts!

This place is amazing, so stylish, great communication with host, great tips for local restaurants and activities. Terra has everything you would ever need in a home Response: This family was tough! In a good way! Their trip almost hit the skids--no fault of their own--but the effort they put into communication and their ability to work though the problem was so admirable! Lesser folks would have given up but they did not! The reason: Their desire to build memories with trip growing boys. Realizing we only have so much time while our kids are young--it was THAT IMPORTANT TO MOM AND DAD to make it happen! And they did! They shared pictures of their time in Texas and they were really just great folks all the way around! Thanks for staying with us!

Wow, what a gem! This adorable cottage is spacious and extremely clean with just about everything you need and then some. The beach decor really set the vibe. Wonderful place to relax. The beds were so comfortable. Right next to Copano bridge and less than 10 mins from Central Rockport's main area. It really was a lovely stay and definitely a steal for what it's worth. This place will be a tough one to top.

We really enjoyed Kelly’s cottage, very clean and easy to get to. Everything was just as we expected and loved the home decor. Definitely would stay again and you won’t be disappointed. Was looking for a guestbook to sign but wasn’t able to find one. But if you’re in the area this is a wonderful place to stay.

The cottage exceeded my expectations. Terra has thought of everything. For a family of 4 with little kids access to the pool was great, the ability to make a few quick meals at the cottage was perfect and the close proximity to the beach. Plenty of space for a family of five.(younger kids) The pool, 7 steps away was great, and having it be open all night was an added bonus so the kids could burn off energy after a day of exploring! Terra's place is a wonderful gem just outside of town. It is close enough to many eateries and a short drive to the beach. I was surprised that it was off a busy street, but there's no sound inside the cottage. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves the entire time. It has absolutely everything you need even some extras for little kids. The bedroom gets nice and dark, so perfect for midday naps. Terra’s cottage was an amazing gem for our girls getaway. Terra’s cottage is filled with every amenity you will need as a home away from home. The cottage was right across from the pool which was a wonderful amenity each day. The beach was less than a 10 min drive and near many stores and restaurants. Terra accommodated us with both early check and late check out. Terra was so amazing, communicates promptly and made us feel absolutely welcomed. You will feel this the minute you step into the cottage. As a seasoned AIRBNB traveler this was truly, one of the best, experiences we’ve had. Thanks again Terra and we can’t wait to visit again!

Very close to other houses and very little privacy. Beds were very soft and uncomfortable. House was clean. Door locks were not working properly.

This beautiful little cabin with all of the comforts of home made our time here special. We loved Padre Island. Not entirely pet friendly. The cottage is nicely decorated and comfortable considering the size. Terra ensured we had everything we would need and then some. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra fee for dog hair (photo not provided). Our dog was in a kennel the majority of our stay (which was only two nights). We never allowed her on furniture or in the bedrooms. We actually met Terra after coming back from a trip to Port Aransas and she made a comment regarding my dog and whether she was shedding a lot. I anticipated an extra fee would incur from the comment alone. Nonetheless, we swept up her loose fur before leaving. We were also nearly charged another fee for poop found in the cottage. However, it was supposedly in an area my dog couldn't even reach due to her size (housekeeping said it was found underneath the corner table between the two couches). Not to mention the photo sent was of a turd that was dry and didn't seem to be in the area mentioned. There was never an odor either. This made entirely no sense but Terra did drop that fee. While I understand a larger dog comes with a bigger responsibility, a pet weight limit was never listed. I don't see how dog hair is a bigger issue than say, sand. Especially when we prepaid the cleaning fee and the pet fee before our stay. Other than that, the cottage was a lovely stay and we enjoyed everything Rockport and Port Aransas had to offer. The guest we just checked in appreciated the added attention to removing all remaining pet hair which, was considerable.

The house was very cute and the beds were comfy. Seemed pretty clean when we got there! The pool is right across the parking lot my family loved it.

This cottage is even prettier in person. It’s so welcoming, very clean and you have every thing you will need for your stay and for months too (lol) Terra was always easy to communicate with and very attentive. You don’t need to bring anything other that the food and A LOT a of mosquito spray. The beach and Rockport downtown is 13-15 minutes away. We’ll be back for sure.

If I could give 10 stars to this cottage, I would! We arrived after dark on Christmas Eve, and Terra had a kitchen mixer in the box still on the counter for us in order to make sugar cookies! I never even mentioned that, but it was so delightful! My family and I have been on the road for 2 weeks in a small camper due to a funeral, and as a present to ourselves we booked this cottage for the three days of Christmas weekend. This cottage is one of the best Airbnb‘s we have ever stayed at!! It’s decorated beautifully, has hooks everywhere, every drawer is labeled, it smells Amazing, and all of utensils even match the beautiful Decor!

The place on our week end to the cost was real nice. The bungalow we spent our weekend was nice, easy to get to and . back. We would stay there again.

Our stay at the Sandy Pelican cottage was perfect!! Everything we needed for the trip we were able to find - from sand toys for the beach to a blender for margaritas! Adorable cottage in Copano Village right off the main road. My son and I enjoyed our stay during our three day break from life. The cottage is nicely decorated and well stocked with most of all necessities and more. The pool is steps away from the front porch. If you bring your dog make sure to clean up all dog hair and dander or you may get charged extra. Extremely easy self check-in. Magical AC will cool you right off with temps over 90 degrees outside. We had a wonderful stay on our first visit to the Rockport Fulton area. The cottage had everything we needed and the pool was perfect for the grandkids. Terra was a great host, check-in was easy and we appreciated the recommendations for dining and things to see.

I’ve stayed at several airbnbs and this one was great. Terra, our host, thought of everything. It was cozy and very clean. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of extra blankets. What a great quick gate away from our busy town. it was a small drive away from the stores but close enough. she had everything that you would need plus more. Staying at Terra’s place made our trip feel exciting and refreshing! As soon as we walked in the door we felt right at home! From toothbrushes and towels to coffee cups and popcorn we loved that everything we needed was provided.

Can I start off by saying that Terra is super inviting and sweet ! She went above and beyond and is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Terra’s cottage is a beautiful little gem situated in a peaceful setting that also offers a nice pool. It is a short drive to Beautiful Rockport Beach. The cottage offers a cozy little porch where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and having beach towels available to use was a big plus. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. The place is absolutely amazing..... you will not regret staying there. We will definitely be coming back! Beautiful quiet place that’s private and easy to access. It’s near all of the beaches. The cottage felt right at home she has everything in there for you.

The cottage is so cute. kinda small for 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. the beds were the Best beds I have ever slept in at a bnb. we are big coffee drinks and there was plenty of coffee for a 4 day trip. the only negative I have is the wifi had to keep being rebooted. other then that we would definitely stay again on our next trip. Terra’s hospitality and attentiveness was above and beyond! We could not have asked for a better host. Her unit was nicely kept and maintained throughout. The only thing that was not cleared was the BBQ pit from the prior user but it was not a big deal! It was a very peaceful and excellent stay.

Wonderful stay at the Sandy Pelican! Terra & Kelli (sp?) were great with providing checkin information and the cottage itself was cosy and pleasant to hang out and chill. We stayed in most of our trip other than going to the beach, as our stay was for R&R, this was just about perfect with shopping or activities nearby if we wanted. Road noise is a little noticeable at night as others have mentioned, but the white noise of the AC offsets it for the most part. It’s not a super busy road and the location was convenient to the beach so overall, Great calming vibe and super helpful hosts!

We really enjoyed Kelly’s cottage, very clean and easy to get to. Everything was just as we expected and loved the home decor. Definitely would stay again and you won’t be disappointed. Was looking for a guestbook to sign but wasn’t able to find one. But if you’re in the area this is a wonderful place to stay.

Nice place for a small family. The area was nice and quiet and we went during a holiday weekend! The pool was nice and just across from the house. So enjoyed staying at this great little cottage. My grandkids enjoyed the pool right across from the house to cool down after the day at the beach. This cottage is right over the causeway so it is at the edge of town but, enjoyed riding the beach line into town. Very peaceful and comfortable. Terra is a great host!

Terra and her co host were super friendly and helpful the whole time, they even let us extend our stay once we got checked in!

Although we had a rainy few days, there was plenty of books, games and puzzle space (we brought one) for our family. Plenty of space for our 5 people and 2 dogs. The tall ceilings gave the square footage such an open feel. It was perfectly appointed and we will save it for next time. The pool is perfect for a quick swim between rain showers. The kids fished their hearts content.

My family and I took a spontaneous pre Christmas trip and weren’t expecting much on a cloudy weekend at the beach. However Terra made our stay great! She was flexible on check in/out as we had work issues come up that changed our timing last minute. The cottage was clean, everything labeled and easy to find, and she had great local recommendations. Our dogs also really enjoyed the area. Would book again!

Took my 2 kids and I stayed 2 nights, it was super cute and clean, comfortable, loved all the coastal decorations. There is literally everything you need already in there like laundry soap, coffee, ect. Tvs in all rooms. My kids loved it so much they didn't want to go home. would 10/10 recommend.

We loved the Sandy Pelican! It is a small cottage that is decorated in lively colors and is a great space for a small family. The cottage is in the midst of other cottages but we still found it private enough. This cottage is right across from the small community pool, so it was easy proximity for our tween to do what she loves most, swim, swim, swim. It is really so perfect for a small family. There are two bedrooms and an adjoining bathroom. We had everything we needed and more. A BBQ, laundry access in the cottage, 3 TV screens, board games, fresh linens and little essentials you may have not planned for or can't travel with. There are many restaurants nearby that we enjoyed, and even an HEB grocery store. Close proximity - 60 minutes or less to Matagorda Bay, Rockport Beach, Mustang Island and Fulton Beach. This was just a really great place that has a great host in Terra who provided a quick response, useful suggestions and really cares about your comfort as you visit.

Our stay was great! Not too far from the beach. The pool was right in front of the house which we enjoyed. Our host was very interactive with us as far as instructions getting in the house and was of great help with the wifi! Overall it was fun!

first... I want to say that I was a manager of housekeeping several years back, so I ALWAYS inspect any room we check into before I let anyone come in because I know what to look for... this house was PERFECT!! My son spilt some water in the bathroom and I just used the towel that he had just used to clean it up... that towel was still as WHITE as could be! Very pleased with this house and the owners!

The cottage exceeded my expectations. Terra has thought of everything. For a family of 4 with little kids access to the pool was great, the ability to make a few quick meals at the cottage was perfect and the close proximity to the beach. Terra labeled everything so you knew where it was and had a great welcome binder. Communication was great and easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Had a wonderful time at Terra’s sea side cottage. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Terra went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was super clean. Terra was very attentive and communicated with us from the moment we made our reservation. She even allowed us to checkout late since there was not another booking the following day. We highly appreciated Terra’s hospitality and highly recommend her cottage if you’re in the area. 5+ Stars!

This cottage is so adorable and well appointed. Terra thought of everything. She had all the dishes, pots and pans, glassware you could need. She had quite a few stocked supplies and snacks, and even a doggie basket with bowls, leads, etc. The minute you walk in, the cottage gives you a hug. It’s so warm and cozy. The furniture cans bedding was all very comfortable. We were there during winter when they had unseasonably cold weather, so we did not use the porch or pool, but still quite a relaxing experience. Terra is super responsive to answer questions and gave us some great local recommendations. Would 100% stay here again.

Had a fantastic two month stay and it was worth it! Hosts were super quick when responding to questions, even minor ones, before and during our stay. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Our family had a great stay! It was clean and cozy! Beach was an 8 minute drive and lots of restaurants nearby, we loved the Wild Prawn restaurant.

Wow, what a gem! This adorable cottage is spacious and extremely clean with just about everything you need and then some. The beach decor really set the vibe. Wonderful place to relax. The beds were so comfortable. Right next to Copano bridge and less than 10 mins from Central Rockport's main area. It really was a lovely stay and definitely a steal for what it's worth. This place will be a tough one to top.

Everything was great! Beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever had. Everything we needed was provided & location was great & near everything. Only wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool.

We can not say enough positive things about this wonderful beach cottage! It was exactly as pictured and blew our expectations away. This house was decorated perfectly, had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and exceeded in every category. Terra has the house fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from various spices to a first aid kit. Traveling with our two children and family dog is sometimes stressful but this place did just the opposite. We felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed and Terra was very responsive and helpful. The Sandy Pelican was a perfect place to enjoy a little getaway for our little family (including two young kiddos). Terra has EVERYTHING you could think of needing and had the cottage stocked so well (there were even hair ties and nail files in the bathroom)! While I didn’t need it, it was good to see a fully equipped kitchen – can’t think of anything else a person would need- even for an extended stay. The quality of bed and bath linens was wonderful – fluffy, soft and cozy. The cottage was impeccably clean and everything in good working order. Once we got our bearings for Rockport & Fulton, realized everything is in close driving distance. I highly recommended this delightful cottage. We enjoyed late nights talking on the porch and swimming with our children in the very clean and kid-friendly pool a few steps across the cottage. Terra’s cottage was an amazing gem for our girls getaway. Terra’s cottage is filled with every amenity you will need as a home away from home. The cottage was right across from the pool which was a wonderful amenity each day. The beach was less than a 10 min drive and near many stores and restaurants. Terra accommodated us with both early check and late check out. Terra was so amazing, communicates promptly and made us feel absolutely welcomed. You will feel this the minute you step into the cottage. As a seasoned AIRBNB traveler this was truly, one of the best, experiences we’ve had. Thanks again Terra and we can’t wait to visit again!

The cottage is so cute. kinda small for 4 adults and 2 kids but we made it work. the beds were the Best beds I have ever slept in at a bnb. we are big coffee drinks and there was plenty of coffee for a 4 day trip. the only negative I have is the wifi had to keep being rebooted. other then that we would definitely stay again on our next trip. Not entirely pet friendly. The cottage is nicely decorated and comfortable considering the size. Terra ensured we had everything we would need and then some. My only complaint is that we were charged an extra fee for dog hair (photo not provided). Our dog was in a kennel the majority of our stay (which was only two nights). We never allowed her on furniture or in the bedrooms. We actually met Terra after coming back from a trip to Port Aransas and she made a comment regarding my dog and whether she was shedding a lot. I anticipated an extra fee would incur from the comment alone. Nonetheless, we swept up her loose fur before leaving. We were also nearly charged another fee for poop found in the cottage. However, it was supposedly in an area my dog couldn't even reach due to her size (housekeeping said it was found underneath the corner table between the two couches). Not to mention the photo sent was of a turd that was dry and didn't seem to be in the area mentioned. There was never an odor either. This made entirely no sense but Terra did drop that fee. While I understand a larger dog comes with a bigger responsibility, a pet weight limit was never listed. I don't see how dog hair is a bigger issue than say, sand. Especially when we prepaid the cleaning fee and the pet fee before our stay. Other than that, the cottage was a lovely stay and we enjoyed everything Rockport and Port Aransas had to offer. Response: We appreciate all the feedback received. It helps us do better and be better. This particular incident has caused us to take a break from hosting fur babies. The guest we just checked in appreciated the added attention to removing all remaining pet hair which, was considerable.

Staying at Terra’s place made our trip feel exciting and refreshing! As soon as we walked in the door we felt right at home! From toothbrushes and towels to coffee cups and popcorn we loved that everything we needed was provided.

Terra's place is a wonderful gem just outside of town. It is close enough to many eateries and a short drive to the beach. I was surprised that it was off a busy street, but there's no sound inside the cottage. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were lucky to have the pool to ourselves the entire time. It has absolutely everything you need even some extras for little kids. The bedroom gets nice and dark, so perfect for midday naps. Very nice place to stay when you want to do a weekend getaway. The house was very clean and the decor was very nice through out the house. I loved how everything was labeled making it easy to find what we needed. I loved that the cottage had a pool to swim in when you don't want to go to the beach. And our host was so nice and responded us to very quickly. We would definitely be back to stay again.

Can I start off by saying that Terra is super inviting and sweet ! She went above and beyond and is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. Terra’s cottage is a beautiful little gem situated in a peaceful setting that also offers a nice pool. It is a short drive to Beautiful Rockport Beach. The cottage offers a cozy little porch where we enjoyed our morning breakfast. The beds were super comfortable and having beach towels available to use was a big plus. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. The place is absolutely amazing..... you will not regret staying there. We will definitely be coming back! We always try to deliver an experience that will be enjoyed by those choosing to stay with us. Beautiful cottage, felt very comfortable! Plenty of space for a family of five.(younger kids) The pool, 7 steps away was great, and having it be open all night was an added bonus so the kids could burn off energy after a day of exploring! If you are looking for a home away from home, with an amazing host, this is the place to come! We WILL be back! The countdown has already begun and we haven't even made it out of Tx yet! The house was very cute and the beds were comfy. Seemed pretty clean when we got there! The pool is right across the parking lot my family loved it.
